Formulation

The Formulation of anodizing bath is use the mixing of several chemicals like aluminum chloride and Lithium aluminum hydride. The Solvent in the hydrid bath is di-ethyl ether. The other ingredients are anhydrous chloride and lithium aluminum hydrid.

AlCl₃ 400 g/l 3 M
LiAlH₄ 15 g/l 0.4 M

The formulation of anodizing process should be added with additive. Additives have been used to reduce grain size and treeing, particularly in thicker deposit, but more often a periodic reverse cycle is used instead.
