Good Treatment is the Quality

To make a consistent result on the process of plating on aluminum, pretreatment become the key of this process to get success. Especially on immersing treatment, the various cleaning and conditioning treatments provide a surface of uniform activity.

The principle on surface treatment before through plating process, the surface should free from oil and grease or other foreign material. Oil and grease can be removed by alkaline cleaning, that use of alkaline solution that is made from sodium hydroxide dissolved in water.

The type of alkaline cleaner can be prepared from 23 g/l sodium carbonate (Na₂CO₃) and 23 g/l trisodium phosphate (Na₃PO₄.12H₂O) and is used at 71 to 83^oC for 1 to 3 minutes. Another Solution frequency used is 5% sodium hydroxide (NaOH), operated at 60 to 65^oC for 30 to 60 sec.

Good result of anodizing depend on each of anodizing treatment, because if any fail process in between each treatment the result of anodizing process will have bad result.
